Harley's new pro model quad set designed for use in the HIBT 3+3 model.

Overview

Harley Ingleby's new HIBT 3+3 model has opened up a whole new world of fin configurations for surfers. When the accompanying Harley Ingleby Power twin set is purchased alongside this quad set, the following fin configurations are possible:

  • Quad
  • Twin
  • Asymmetrical quad and twin.

All these options are shown in the photos to illustrate the options. Please note that the twin fins are sold separately.

To quote Harley, " Taking the versatility of the HIBT to new levels is the 3+3 fin system, letting you ride it as a true quadtrue twin, or an asym fin setup. It’s like having three boards in one - super versatile, super fun".

The set comprises the Reactor Large thruster template and the Performer Large quad rear fins. As a thruster this pivotal set encourages tighter radius turns on these longer boards due to the upright nature of the fins. As a quad set, it will feel fast, smooth and predictable while encouraging a more drawn-out term. Both configurations are designed to offer a feeling of control, with the freedom to surf radically on a mid-length.

  • Designed for mid-lengths and hybrids
  • Reactor Large / Performer Large Quad Trailers
  • Pivotal Tri-Quad set for easy turning
  • PC AirCore Construction

Board Types

  • Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
  • Performance boards with deep concaves and moderate-to-extreme rocker.

Fin Family

  • Reactor Large / Performer Large Quad Trailer

Performance Glass

Performance Glass (PG) fins are machine cut from layers of solid fibreglass. These fins are stiff and are widely used by pro-level surfers because the integrity of the flex is maintained under immense force, and in the most extreme of conditions and situations.
